Imagine yourself, the groomsman, standing on the tip of an island waiting for your bride to appear through the sunroom sliding doors. As the sliding doors open you see her stepping out onto the pool deck and walking toward you. Across the deck and down the stairs, your heart is racing as your bride continues across the grassy turf area, up the aisle to where you are waiting. The water and sunset behind you is beautiful and awe-inspiring as your bride is given to you.
Grace River Island has a beautiful private upstairs air conditioned bridal suite with a balcony for the bride and her ladies to prepare and also an air conditioned room for the groom and groomsmen for hang out and preparation before the wedding. Your reception can be right onsite either in the clubhouse or on the large deck overlooking the river. And the chef inspired prep kitchen can be used by your caterer for the final preparations before your meal is served. We provide white round tables, white padded wedding chairs, serving tables, cocktail tables, white table cloths and a 2 post cedar arbor. We also provide staff for setting up the equipment, tear down and cleanup.

THE SPACE
As you enter the gate to the property, the driveway is beautifully lined with traveler and queen palms. Continue up the drive occasionally glimpsing the river and soon you will see the 4700 square foot island house which has a large kitchen, chef inspired prep kitchen, a large living room, a family room/grooms getting ready area, 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and a lovely sunroom overlooking the sunset with a large live-edge dining table with seating for 24 people.
Four bedrooms are on the main floor: Bedroom 1 (Master Bedroom) with Ensuite Bathroom is to the right of the front door and is a quiet place for mom and dad or grandpa and grandma. Bedroom 2 (Sunroom Bedroom) and private bathroom is just off the sunroom. Bedroom 3 (Honeymoon Suite) is next to the pool with spectacular views of the water and has an Ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 4 (Family Room) has doors and shades that can be closed for privacy. From the kitchen, you can go up the stairs to Bedroom 5 (Bridal Suite) with a Queen daybed/trundle, a Victorian Bathroom, and a Victorian Powder room. Up three more stairs, there is the 6th Bedroom (Loft) with 5 twin beds which is a perfect spot for the bridesmaids, family members or friends before and after the wedding.
Our sunroom overlooking the water and pool features a 16 foot live edge table and 24 chairs making it a great place for a rehearsal dinner and gathering space the day after the wedding. The island also boasts an air conditioned clubhouse that can be used as a backup space in case it rains. Our Harbor Gazebo has fun swings to sit and relax without a care in the world. Our Captains Lookout has great water and stunning sunset views with plenty of seating. The heated saltwater swimming pool will help you relax away the cares of the day. If you walk down the driveway you will see many exotic trees and several species of birds among several enclaves with tables, benches and swings, giving a plethora of photo opportunities.
